Ethical guidelines dictate that in matters where P. I. E. Corp is retained for consultative, subject matter expertise, or forensic evaluation purposes, psychologists are not entering into a patient/psychologist therapeutic relationship, and the scope of our work is limited to responding to the referral questions alone. Specialty guidelines in forensic psychology also prohibit psychologists from switching between the roles of evaluator and consultant on the same legal matter.
