Ethical guidelines prohibit psychologists from switching between the roles of clinical and forensic work in different phases of involvement of a single case. Specialty guidelines in forensic psychology also prohibit psychologists from switching between the roles of evaluator and consultant on the same legal matter. In matters where P. I. E. Corp is retained for consultative purposes, psychologists are not entering into a patient/psychologist, therapeutic relationship, and the scope of our work is limited to responding to the consultative questions alone.
